Würth Super RTV Silicone Gasket Maker – Black, High Temp 200 ml (08933311)

Würth's Super RTV is a high-temperature, oil-resistant silicone gasket maker for sealing engine and driveline covers. It's the black, MEKO-free version in a 200 ml pressurised can, so it dispenses in a fine, even bead without a caulking gun.

Where to use it

• Sumps / oil pans and transmission covers
• Timing and front covers, camshaft bearing covers
• Water pumps, oil pumps and thermostat housings

Why this one

• Resists engine oil, gearbox oil, coolant/antifreeze and refrigerant
• Neutral (non-acid) cure – won't corrode electronics or harm O2 / lambda sensors
• Stays flexible: Shore A 30, up to 550% elongation

Specifications

• Colour: Black

Application tips

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of all old sealant. On sumps and gearboxes, keep sealant out of the inside: apply, fit the parts, separate them and wipe away any squeeze-in, then refit and torque within 5 minutes. Allow full cure time before filling with fluids and starting.
