Common questions
Conversion FAQ
Which engine should I use — M57, M57N or M57N2?
All three are 3.0L BMW straight-six turbo-diesels. The M57N (218 HP) and M57N2 (231 HP) are the most common conversion engines and have the widest kit support. If you're unsure, send us your vehicle and gearbox and we'll recommend the right combination.
Will your kits fit my vehicle?
Each kit lists the vehicles and gearboxes it suits. We officially support Nissan Patrol GU/GQ, Toyota LandCruiser 80/105, Land Rover Defender, Jeep and Navara/Pathfinder, and many customers adapt our parts to other vehicles. Use the Engine filter in the shop to browse by engine, and ask us before ordering if you're not sure.
How long do parts and kits take to ship?
Stocked parts ship promptly. Fabricated components are made to order in our Myaree workshop and typically take around 3 weeks. Custom wiring looms are built in-house to suit each vehicle and take 8 weeks; the clock starts once we've received your harness and ECU. Lead times are shown on each product page under the Add to cart button.
Do you fit conversions and parts in your workshop?
Yes — we do complete drive-in / drive-out conversions from our Myaree, WA workshop, and we can fit any part we sell, including suspension, wheels and tyres. See our Workshop & fitting page for services and pricing, or contact us to book your vehicle in.
Can I pick up my order or get it delivered locally?
Local pickup is available from 1/20 Thurso Rd, Myaree, Monday to Friday 7am–4pm — just choose pickup at checkout. Perth metro Quicklee services are also available; call 0477 313 106 for more info.
